the drawback is when you want to change CPU,
it's quite annoying that you will need to uninstall everything and do it again
we will check the results later:)

as I can see from the testing now, it is about the same as ultra 120 extreme with low profile fan:)

Low profile fan for Thermalright or for ASUS SK II?

Interesting, indeed even ASUS mouting kit its bad.

ok folks
we have e8500 apply in this
mobo為p5e3 premium, 0204 bios
stick in probe
I think the measure point is alright
but it's only the surface of IHS not core
so we still need some software to get that right

http://www.cbbocteam.com/opb/asusskii/probe.jpg

during the test, I got hwmonitor from cpuid.com
and also core temp 0.99 in use apparently;)

http://www.cbbocteam.com/opb/asusskii/1e8500.jpg

and from the surface temp measured, I got from 22.5~27.3c for the most
(in 10 minutes loaded)

http://www.cbbocteam.com/opb/asusskii/temp.jpg

well we see its performance and we know its price, quite pricy
compare with Thermalright ultra 120 extreme and "less extreme" than what
we can expect. certainly, it is quite a decent air cooler , however, just
the matter that not that extreme.

Good work done by Asus, there's still clearance for more VCore 24/7, so even worse Wolfies should do 4 Ghz easily.

IMO major problem of this cooler will appear after one year usage - fan durability. most of users wouldn't be able to change it :(

I agree with pmp:) And i don't like copper finish -nickel is more likely for longer period of usage.
