i think that the temparature will be good and the bottom shouldnt cause any problems

too much and bottom is almost flat...:)
Regards
with a 36mm bottom, could get some 15-20mm holes drilled to increase surface area and get the LN2 closer to the contact surface.
I dont know LOTS about pot design, but the pot has potential! :)

Pot is brainstorm from lolhalol -KOC team (Malesia) and not like author of topic said. Pot isn't the same like plan from original author (for who it was mean to be latheing) becasue on lathe from shayba wasn't possible to make small channels.
Next time shayba do like we all agreed and don't tell it's your idea and everything! Pot it's KOC POT rev.2.3.
36 bottom is not too much if you use LN2, but with dry ice its too much.
With holes it should be perfect ;)

Srry mate, i don't like how everything turned around. But IMHO it's not worth to wait anymore, promises are for sisys :ocx25:

mate its ok... not ur fault...
ok here the full story....
last time i saw icy post up a thread on his evaps and he has a lathe. so i pm him asking if he could help me make a pot... using my design... ( i dont want to post up teh print of the pot.. but if u want to have a look... shoot me a pm.. ) . so we discuss on msn ..... yadayadayada... we make up a deal... he would get in contact with a friend , shayba , that will do the pot.. for price of copper only which was 120euros . and icy propose the idea of a trade..where i send him a e8400 for the pot... no cash changes hands.. so i agree... and send him teh prints and all my requirements and stuff....
this was 12-31-2007
and discussions were about a week.. then we set dateline to be at 15.1.2008... coz i needed it for an event.. shayba missed this dateline.. i was a little disappointed but understood , coz the design was not easy to mill and life gets in the way and ****.. and we got backup pot... then during the event weekend i had a few minutes to go online.. and saw this thread after k404 tipped me off... and was checking out the pics.. and notice a striking similarity... but base was unfinished...
ive been pushing him for updates ever since.. i keep getting responses like ill call uncle and stuff like that... till today.... ..

Hello.
I am shayba, the one that was supposed to make the pot for you. It is not icy-s fault that the pot is not finished.
It is my fault because I simply cannot do it. My uncle cannot do it because he has run out of knives for cutting the copper.
All of them have broken because they were not made for such a task.
I am truly sorry lolhalol.
