Board is well-design and built for sure besides the 4 pins molex located at the last PCI slot.:ocx48: , also the bios is so easy to corrupt. The first one let me install everything fresh and without any difficulty, but after couple hours, power off and power on, the on board debug led just show "8E" then automatically shut down.
After RMA to Newegg and receive today, samething happened ; even I just adjust some parameters of uGuru options, then directly went down exactly same as the first board.

Let's see the parts of this board:

This figure is from Ancient China era, means fortune and luck.

What about BIOS?
For me , the bios is quite rich and in details.
very nice uguru bios page;)
**OH MY GOD...there are bunch of people DO NOT what is EPP SLI memory...
please before you ever think about play this, DO THE HOME WORK. , if you ever wanna OC, you need to disable
SLI memory setting, otherwise you can't change the profile setting by epp.

this is the beta bios, abit adds the 1333 strap already.

every OC Voltage option you need is here;)

here are the minum and maximum voltages for all you need to go extreme.

CPU basic settings, the last one is very interesting;)

see the explanation on the right side?

http://www.opbcorner.com/HWbench/in932xmax/bios/bios07.jpg

hoho, I prefer the memory page has current value and setting value, that would greatly help user to think how far or how do they need to set the timings.

some on board devices setting.

other than these, I don't think they are important to mention.
we will keep going to see how good it is.

ok here we go, for the basic consideration about fsb and memory settings, this would be the topics every user focus on,
for me, I already checked couple nv680i board; here we are not doing the review in details, so we go more real OC type.

Testbed:
memory: Team Group PC9600 C5 and PC8500 C4
power: Tagon 1100w
OS: Windows Xp Sp2
HD: Western Digital raptor 150g 10000rpm single drive
cooling: Air cooling from Thermalright Ultra 120.

** This board is by far that I can drectly set this setting (in general) without any problem.:)

http://www.opbcorner.com/HWbench/in932xmax/bench/spi1m.jpg

dno't have to change anything, directly go for 32m:

http://www.opbcorner.com/HWbench/in932xmax/bench/spi32m.jpg

check out the pifast.:D

http://www.opbcorner.com/HWbench/in932xmax/bench/pifast1066.jpg

after quick check of DDR1066 and fsb 1500+;
I just restart and set: fsb as 1500mhz and ram go for ddr1200 4-3-3;)

here is my setting details:

http://www.opbcorner.com/HWbench/in932xmax/bench/ddr1200settingagg.jpg

try the pi1m;)

http://www.opbcorner.com/HWbench/in932xmax/bench/ddr1200spi1m.jpg

after that, that day I gotta lab project went to school, so I power off, when I back home, everything is gone .
and today I got the same problem, we will see you here when I got bios chip working.

THanks

looks really nice apart from that 4-pin molex ... someone wasn't thinking for sure ...

looking forward to some "results" :ocx44:

The 4-pin molex is only for cards WITHOUT external power connectors, so you don't have to worry about it then using bigger cards that would block access

If you need any pointer OPB give me shout, I've been playing with this board for some time now :)

hey buddy, is there any way I can fix the bios chip? I am quite in rush:(

The only thing I need is new bios chip I think, would you have anyway to help or who I can contact with.:)

Johnny Bravo

I think it's been mentioned before but a hotflash from another suitable board would probably be the best way. Might be a stupid question but......that error can be caused if you don't have a cpu fan plugged in (PWM model) and you try to boot. Clear the BIOS attach a PWM fan and try again.

if this is the problem you can go into uGuru and disable fan monitoring in there, then it won't be a problem anymore!

nah, should not be the case, I have that fan plug in though:(

what were you doing prior to this error code occurring?

nope , only regularly reboot would like to change bios parameters.
MSN can't log in at this moment, I will add you in after my ISP come here and fix cable;)
thanks very much for the help.:)

** I found that looks like chip burned little bit.

Oooh, can you post a picture of the burned chip? I want to see what componet went. :S You'd think with an enthusiast board they would make sure some bugs are worked out.

Also, i think you may want to contact conman (http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/member.php?u=222) , he might be able to grab a bios chip i think he works in abit forums :ocx44:
