I will suggest the diameter of buttom surface need to be reduced to 25mm or it's gonna have hard time to touch the IHS perfectly. my two cents;)

Nice proyect sir, may you have lots of good luck with it :ocx44:
also , don't you think that if you just make the base only a bit taller you let it as is and avoid to brass the rest? you would save in costs and you would have a solid Pot with better heat transfers and hold load capability, pretty much like KP's and MM's designs :)

Could you make 60mm diameter base or more, I think 50mm is to small.

just to be more precise, the max outer diameter of lower part, 50mm is to small by my opinion, 60 is ok but 70 or even more will be better, I use 78mm wide pot now. Base hmm, 30mm base (area that is going on top of CPU) is also to small by my opinion 40-45mm I think will be better

no the base is 30mm way to small
your pots width is 60mm our pots now are in the 3in range or 80mm+
Exactly, base with 30mm is too small, 40mm at least, for spi 60mm wide pot is ok, but for 3d&4 cores go with 70mm, for me 74~78 is perfect because u will have lot of mass, and still no problems with mounting and insulation (of course it can be solved, but thiner pot > more easier/better insulation)
