BIOS Boots 7X500 3.5G What's ur SUPER PI 32M scores?
Does P35 can replace 965P? :rolleyes:
unfortunately,on P965 only can run 1:1 ,if switch to P35, then u can decide
1:1, 4:5 or 5:6:)

Just a brief testing, have not adjust most sub timings in bios

lol, cookie - you sure know how to tweak :( ... got 20s better with slower chipset at same freq

my run - daily OS + OPB tweaker + maxmem ... no more tweaks

E6600 7 x 500 (boot from bios)
Ultra-120 (CPU Cooling)
Abit QuadGT (no mods)
Noctua NC-U6 (NB cooling)
Crucial PC8500 2x1GB // Team PC6400 C3 2x1GB
Win2K3 (pretty much my fully tweaked SPi 32M setup)

Maxmem = 615
CopyWazza = 4.02GB (from E:\ > C:\*desktop*)

Reg tweaks:
"EnableSuperfetch"=dword:00000001
"DisablePagingExecutive"=dword:00000001
"LargeSystemCache"=dword:00000001
"ClearPageFileAtShutdown"=dword:00000001
(there may be a couple more of the NTFS reg tweaks in there as well)

this run is basically my fully tweaked 32M SPi benching setup as i was working on my 3600MHz time for the SPi LowClock Thread (http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=961) when i saw this thread.
so i dropped the FSB to 500x7 and gave this a run. here is the result...the key is that its 1066strap as opposed to 1333 that you would get with P5B-Dlx
booting @ 500FSB.

1:1 3.5GHz DDR2-1000 4444
SPi 32M = 13m 26.343s

click for full size with sub-timings...

again, this is with 4x1GB so four bank interleaving in full effect with the memory at its tightest possible timings it will run on my fully optomized
SPi 32M OS. it will be interesting to see if you can beat this sort of time with the P35 Hicookie...i look forward to your fully tweaked results. the
biggest advantage you have is that 5:6 divider for 500x7 // DDR1200.

3oh6 nice run on the 1066 strap...
why such a big copywazza?
any of you guys have tested maxmem 512 vs 600?

the 4gb gives me time to get Memset timings changed and just seems to work well with MAXMEM=615. there is very little difference between the 4GB CW and 2GB CW but every now and then i get a few extra tenths with the bigger file i find.

with this 4gb setup, i tried alot of CW/MAXMEM combos including 500, 515, 600, 615, 630, 645, 700...etc there is varrying differences but not a lot between any of them...we are talking a few tenths of a second here and there. i think you just have to test each with your setup. HTH

very impressived!, guys, thanks for ur sharing.
hmm.. for those whos has 1066strap mobo,like dfi and abit
u do have great latency, and gets good tmie of super pi 32m

from the bios boot,the mobo from gigabyte & asus were weak at memory latency.

i run 500FSB, get 62.ns latency,and the chip is due to 1333strap,really slow
and guys, i get a IP35 pro today, does anyone can try this mobo wich has 1066strap and p35's new dividers will be impressiving

lol quad gt owns pi

I wanna see team japans 5660mhz+ cpu on quad gt :)
Or is quad gt just fast up to say 500mhz fsb? then strap cripples it?

love the 4x 1024 :)
full bank interleaving rocks and 4gig is fun for any task

I wanna see team japans 5660mhz+ cpu on quad gt if someone could provide me a QuadGT I could test it out for ya with "my" 5.5GHz+ E6700 :D

But, not all mobos can cope with highCPUfreq :(
For instance, with about similar conditions, max I can get from GF's E6700 with her board (DFI 965Dark) is ~5530MHz while both of my P5Bdeluxes go 5600MHz or over with the same chip/tube/temps/volts...

Note, Kentsfield B3 stepping cpus are clock for clock slower in single instance Super Pi benchmarks compared with Core 2 Duo dual core B2 stepping cpus.

hehe, yup...4 x 1gb is nothing but fun. after seeing your 680i numbers i am itching
to get home and see what i can do with my 680i board and 4 gigs...never tried before.

about the QuadGT...it doesn't slow down at any FSB. only gets faster :D
32M SPi @ 4806MHz (1:1 / 534x9 (boot) / 4-4-4-4) = 10m 24.XXX (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/3oh6/hwbot/e6600/32m_534x9-1.png)

the only problem is that the FSB limit is usually right around 530~550FSB, even after
volt mods with water cooling. some freak boards have gone higher but not all of them.
the above run at 534FSB was with dry ice in that alu Rev2 of yours and an un-modded
board with an NC-U6 on the NB. next session will be with a modded vMCH, water on
the NB (hopefully), and i also figured out how to get uGURU to work so hopefully i can
get past 534FSB. it wouldn't POST at 535FSB or higher but was easily 32M stable at
534 x 9.
